ROXX TAVERN FINALLY GETS - NEW NON-SMOKING POLICY
"Beginning on July 1st 2012, the New Smoking Policy at ROXX is as follows:
There will no smoking at ROXX, inside (dining room or bar) or on the patio before 8:00 pm every day. This means that there will be no smoking at ROXX for lunch or Sunday Brunch or early dinner. This also means that after 8:00 pm everyday, you may smoke only at the bar inside or on the outside patio. Capisce.
If you have a desire to light up before 8:00 pm, you may go outside to the side of the building and enjoy your smoke."

Was at Roxx yesterday, and I love that place! When talking to the waitress, I inquired about one of the dishes....the apple cornbread dressing....and was told that if I want the recipe I can go to the Roxx website and e-mail Dean......this is the website that keeps coming up, but did not see an e-mail for Mr. Dean. Can anyone assist? Thanks!

Reply from Webmaster: Good luck getting a recipe from Dean. He tweaks things a lot. Then sometimes recipes change a little and he says they didn't change. He'll say a recipe is one thing, then someone else will say something else. I think he likes to be secretive. But give it a try. Reply from Webmaster: This is not ROXX's website. It's mine. I'm not selling gift certificates for them. Let them make their own website and then they can do that. I guess they keep their food prices low by not spending money on extras (like websites). And when you get in your damn car, you probably will stay and have a great lunch or dinner, so the trip isn't a waste. Maybe they are smart and not just lazy and cheap. Maybe not.

My husband and I had our first date at Roxx. It was a staple in our lives before we got married. Hell, we're heading there tonight with his birthday coupon.
I'm not sure how they always manage to be so great all the time. If it's not what you want, they fix it -- and smile about it. Everyone has their off days, but Roxx never shows it.
They don't know us; we aren't part of the cool crowd. Still, we always feel welcome and part of a family of people who love their food and environment.
Hello, I just wanted to start out by saying that I've dined at your restaurant about 3 times now. My husband and I decided to eat at ROXX on the beautiful Sunday of January the 31st about mid‐day. The restaurant was very busy, the weather was beautiful and the patio hopping. It amazes me at such a high volume restaurant such as yours that the servers are always just dead on accurate and friendly. Each time we've dined the service has been superb. This last time we had Lans as our server. Although he had many tables, he was attentive, made great selections and inquisitions (My husband is VERY finicky about what is in his food entrees). All while being very accurate, outgoing and smiley. It seems you just don't get that kind of service as often these days. I don't know where the customer service has gone. All in all, we love Roxx because of the good food and excellent hospitality. You really know how to take care of a guest and we wanted to let you know we DO appreciate it. Lans ROXX
Roxx has the friendliest staff, from managers to servers. I love the special treatment I always get there, from the hugs to the great service and always filled drinks. I can't find better servers anywhere and the managers are top‐notch. Robert

I've been a semi‐regular at Roxx for lunch for years and years. Yesterday I brought two of my colleagues who had never been (they thought it was a night club/bar). Adam met us at the door and it was love at first sight. Roy brought us burgers and it was declared by these new folks that they are the best in Atlanta. A surprise fried Twinkie sealed the deal. They've talked about Roxx non‐stop since. Thanks to everybody at Roxx! CC
I used to eat at Roxx fairly frequently when I lived in ATL. I'm coming down for a long weekend starting July 29 and am looking forward to eating at Roxx while I'm there. SF
